Welcome to Vega Caledonia Autor, an emblematic winery located in the prestigious Rioja Alta region. With a history dating back to 1874, this winery has become a benchmark of excellence and exclusivity in the production of very high-end signature wines.
One of the distinctive features of Vega Caledonia Autor is its barrel park, which is located in an impressive 500-meter subway cave. This cave provides a unique and perfectly controlled environment for the aging of the wines, creating ideal conditions for their development and evolution.
The winery prides itself on its focus on signature winemaking, which means that each wine is a true work of art, carefully created and designed by the head winemaker. Every detail, from the selection of the best grapes to the vinification process and barrel aging time, is carried out with precision and dedication to achieve exceptional levels of quality and complexity.

Vineyards
Located mainly in the municipality of Clavijo, they enjoy a continental micro-climate with Mediterranean and Atlantic influence due to the average altitude of 600 meters above sea level, benefiting the complete ripening of the grapes for subsequent vinification. The winery owns 45 hectares of vineyards located in places of excellent qualities, mainly for the development of the grapes. The oldest vineyards are used for the production of our best wines.

We have 34 hectares of Tempranillo, 8 hectares of Graciano and 3 hectares of Garnacha, all of them over 50 years old, with 2 hectares of Tempranillo 95 years old.
